DOES TEEN LIFE SOULUTIONS PROMOTE A PARTICULAR DOCTRINE?
No. Each lesson is based on the Holy Bible. The lessons do not advocate or denounce particular interpretations. Rather they highlight the foundational principles of the Christianity that Jesus taught such as: love, respect, purity and holiness, loyalty, temperance, forgiveness, overcoming mistakes and so on.
CAN TEEN LIFE SOULUTIONS BE USED WITH BOTH JUNIOR HIGH
AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS?
Yes. It is written and compiled in such a way that it reaches both younger and older teens because it addresses issues that both age groups deal with. However the teacher/group leader must use their discretion on if they will teach with a younger teen or older teen focus based on the demographics of their particular group.
WHAT TYPE OF SETTINGS CAN TEEN LIFE SOULUTIONS BE USED IN?
Teen Life Soulutions can be used in most youth ministry settings. It is great for discussion type groups (Sunday School) or highly instructional settings (Bible Studies) in which a leader teaches the material directly to a larger group of students.
WHAT IS THE SPIRITUAL DEPTH OF THE LESSONS?
Teen Life Soulutions has great balance. The Biblical content of the lessons challenge maturing Christian teens into greater depths of God's Word and spiritual growth. However, the topics are relevant enough to connect with unchurched teens who lack biblical knowledge who may be visiting your church or group for the first time.
HOW MUCH TIME IS NEEDED TO PREPARE TO TEACH THE LESSONS?
The teacher or facilitator needs about 30 minutes to an hour to prepare to teach. The simplicity of the instructor's guide identifies the scriptures and objectives that you need to know to present effectively. The additional teaching notes (commentary) are streamlined so it saves you preparation time without compromising spiritual depth and substance.
